How to Make Tapioca Pearls and Brown Sugar Milk

Ingredients:

  • 3,000ml of water
  • 250g of tapioca pearls
  • 200g of brown sugar syrup
  • 100ml of hot water

Instructions:

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a large pot.
  2. Add the tapioca pearls and stir gently until they begin to float.
  3. Cover the pot and cook on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
  4. Turn off the heat and let the tapioca pearls simmer for another 30 minutes.
  5. Drain the tapioca pearls and rinse them with cold water.
  6. In a separate pot, combine the brown sugar syrup and hot water.
  7. Simmer for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  8. Add the pearls to an empty cup
  9. Rotate the cup for a nice decorative effect
  10. Add milk

Tips:

  • The tapioca pearls should be cooked until they are soft but still chewy.
  • If the tapioca pearls are too soft, they will fall apart.
  • If the tapioca pearls are too hard, they will be difficult to chew.
  • The brown sugar syrup should be thick and syrupy.
  • If the brown sugar syrup is too thin, it will not be sweet enough.
  • If the brown sugar syrup is too thick, it will be too sweet.

  • You can add other flavours to the brown sugar syrup, such as vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry.
  • You can also add toppings to the bubble tea, such as whipped cream, jelly, or fruit.
